Samantha's First Birthday Part 3: Review

I can't believe my little girl is a baby no longer. She is walking & talking (oh my is she talking!!! this girl will talk to the air!). Samantha loves to laugh- if anyone around her laughs she will join in! She typically only gets grumpy when she's tired, dirty or hungry. She loves music & always dances or sways. She brings so much laughter & joy to our lives!
Samantha one year ago, I never could have imagined how much you would change our lives but you did & we are a FAMILY now, because of you.

Thanks to Tosha, my sister-in-law, for the idea of the puppy photos. I think they are a great indication of Samantha & her last year's milestones!

Samantha's First Birthday Part 2: The Party!!

Once we pulled her chair up- she dug right in!


She wasn't interested in the gifts until after they were unwrapped- then she played with every toy & 'read' every card!

Samantha's First Birthday Part 1: The BIG Day!!!

We went to the zoo with grandma, great-grandma & cousin Caitlin

Busy Bees

We've been busy getting the house ready to move in. We've been painting like crazy & have ordered our flooring.

I gave Samantha a clean paintbrush & she had so much fun 'helping' Nana & myself paint.

Hello Chris!!

Now that Uncle Chris has moved to Arkansas; Samantha, Nana & myself drove down to help him unpack & set up house. We had the added treat of dinner with my cousin & his family!
