In a million years, 6 months ago even, I never would have thought it would come to this! But after a seed was planted in my head it has finally come about...cloth diapering.
Not quite our mother's cloth diapers are they?! The plan is to try it for 2 months (2 months worth of disposables is what the above stash cost me); that way if I don't like it- financially it's a wash.
It's day 3 & so far... I LOVE it!!!
I'll let you know in 2 months if that changes!!!

Road Trip!
Congratulations Jacob!
This past weekend Lance's cousin Jacob graduated from High School; so quite a few of the Thomas clan packed up their vehicles & headed to Texas- including us.We stopped at the state lines to get photos.

In Oklahoma we hit construction where the road was closed for awhile. It was a perfect time to allow Samantha to play out of her car seat.

Palo Duro CanyonSaturday after the graduation, the Thomas clan headed over to Palo Duro Canyon for the day.

Casey with Samantha.

Shelly took Samantha around & explained to her how she was related to everyone. Thanks Shelly!

Sorry about this photo Shannon- but when I saw it I had to put it up!

Trish & Traci.

Opening graduation gifts.

Watching intently.

To combat the 94 degree heat, we took a walk up the stream.

Playing in the water.

Samantha started to get upset when I wouldn't let her sit in the water.

Brave New World
Our little girl is a big bad 9 months old!!! And this is what we've been up to lately... (the videos were taken just before naptime, so she was very tired & a bit grumpy.)

Happy Anniversary Lance!

9 Months!
So I don't have a photo with her puppy yet, but will post one later. Samantha is crawling slow but definitely crawling. She is pulling up on EVERYTHING & has even attempted a step. She can stand on her own for about 5 seconds then topples, but it doesn't stop her from trying. She is loving her walker & my parents have tons of wood floors for her to zoom around. She also really enjoys the hot tub. (Won't she be in for a shock the first time she gets into a cold pool!)

Sold!
I have been waiting to post this until things were more certain; but we sold our townhouse!!!! We close in a week! My folks have graciously offered our little family use of their basement until we find a permanent address, at which point we will let you know. Until then, email us if you need an address.

Oh, and the photo from the last post was a combination of playing with Photo Shop & inspiration from browsing the web. Thanks Lance for the GREAT Christmas present!!
